PDO Threads

No need to go under the knife! PDO Threads are the Face, Body, and Breast Lift alternative!

PDO THREADS FOR NON-SURGICAL FACE LIFTS AND BODY LIFTS.

Sagging skin is a common problem that many people face as they age. Fortunately, there are treatments available that can help tighten the skin and give you a more youthful appearance. One of the most popular treatments for skin tightening and resurfacing is PDO threads which offers a non-surgical body and face lift alternative. These treatments also stimulate collagen growth resulting in long-term tightening and lifting of the skin.

PDO THREADS

Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are made of polydioxanone, a synthetic absorbable suture material that has been used in cardiothoracic surgery for many years. More recently, PDO threads have been used in dermatology and plastic surgery for skin tightening, lifting, and rejuvenation. The threads work by stimulating the production of collagen, which helps to tighten and lift the skin.

The threads are inserted into the subdermal layer of the skin. Once in place, these threads help to support the skin and create a scaffold for new collagen growth. In addition to immediate lifting and tightening effects, these threads also help to improve skin texture and tone over time. As the body breaks down the thread material, it is replaced by new collagen, resulting in long-lasting benefits.

The brands of PDO threads that we use

There are many different brands offering polydioxanone threads on the market. We use PDO Max, V Soft Lift, and Miracu because of their reputation for excellence and quality and as the leading manufacturers of these medical devices.

These brands are FDA cleared. They are crafted from high-quality materials and offer a variety of benefits including helping to smooth out wrinkles, lift sagging skin, and improve the overall appearance of the face. We have found that PDO threads provide our patients with superior results.

Threads on the Face

The face is the first area where the effects of aging are most noticeable. The skin on the face is thinner and more delicate than the skin on other parts of the body, making it more susceptible to damage from sunlight, pollution, and other elements. In addition, the facial muscles are used more frequently than other muscles, which can lead to wrinkles and lines. Finally, the loss of fat and collagen can cause the skin on the face to sag and lose its shape.

All of these factors can make a person look older than their chronological age. Fortunately, threads are an excellent way to help slow down the aging process and keep the face looking its best. By understanding the effects of aging on the face and working with us to choose the right treatment options, it is possible to maintain a youthful appearance for many years to come.

Threads on the Body

The body is affected by signs of aging in many ways. With time, the skin loses its ability to retain moisture, which can lead to dryness, flaking, and fine lines. The hands are particularly susceptible to these changes, as they are exposed to the elements on a daily basis. The neck is another area that tends to show signs of aging, as the skin in this area is thinner and more elastic than most areas on the body.

The chest and back are also commonly affected by aging, as the skin in these areas becomes thin and wrinkled. Ultimately, there are a number of changes that occur to the body as we age. However, by using polydioxanone threads to promote collagen production, we can help to minimize these changes and maintain a youthful appearance.

Threads on the Breasts

The breasts may lose their firmness and shape due to aging, weight loss, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. As a result, many women seek ways to lift and firm their breasts. Breast lift surgery is one option, but it is not always necessary.

Polydioxanone threads are a safe and effective non-surgical alternative. During a PDO breast lift treatment, the threads are inserted into the breast tissue using a needle. Once in place, they provide lift and support for the breasts. The threads will eventually be absorbed by the body. For many women, threads offer an excellent way to achieve firmer, more youthful-looking breasts without surgery.

Before and After Treatment Results

How Long Do Polydioxanone Threads Remain in the Skin Before They Dissolve?

The threads will gradually dissolve over the course of four to six months. In rare cases, the threads may be visible under the skin for a few weeks after the treatment, but they will eventually fade away completely.

How Long Do Results Last?

In general, PDO threads provide four to six months of improvement before the threads are slowly and naturally absorbed by the body. During this time, new collagen is produced to help tighten the skin. The resulting skin structure then holds for another 12-15 months. For the best results, PDO threads should be performed once or twice a year. During each session, new threads will be inserted to replace the ones that have dissolved.

Do Polydioxanone Threads Leave Scars?

Polydioxanone is an absorbable synthetic surgical suture. It degrades in the body over time through hydrolysis. One of the main benefits of polydioxanone threads is that they are minimally invasive and don’t leave visible scars. The threads are inserted using a fine needle and do not require incisions. In addition, polydioxanone material has low immunogenicity, minimal tissue reactivity, and good handling characteristics.

Is PDO Threading Painful?

While PDO threading is not painful, some people may experience mild stinging and pulling sensations during threading. However, this can be easily alleviated with a topical numbing cream. Overall, PDO threading is a safe and effective way to achieve noticeable results with minimal to no discomfort.

ACHIEVE YOUTHFUL, SMOOTH SKIN WITH PDO THREADING

PDO Threading is an excellent alternative to surgical skin rejuvenation procedures like a face lift, brow lift, or neck lift. The treatment involves using fine threads made of polydioxanone (PDO) to lift and tighten sagging skin. This process stimulates collagen production, resulting in long-term tightening and lifting of the skin.
